My Story
I am a creative professional and communications strategist supporting NASA human spaceflight at the agency’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. and based in Golden, Colorado, USA.
When not telling the story of human exploration in space, I write about exploration on Earth—with articles and photographs appearing in The Travel Channel, The National Geographic Society, Thrillist, The Huffington Post, The Lonely Planet, The Wall Street Journal, and more.
I’ve appeared on numerous podcasts, radio spots, and TV shows related to my adventures in the U.S. national parks and on other expeditions in locations on six continents (Australia, I’ll see you soon!!)
In 2016, I took on “the Greatest American Road Trip,” exploring and documenting all 59 of the U.S. National Parks over 52 weeks during the Centennial anniversary of the National Park Service. Four new national parks have been established since the conclusion of our project and we are actively exploring and documenting those too with plans to update our book soon! I have authored multiple books on the subject of the National Parks, with another currently in work. The National Park Journal is scheduled for release in May of 2022 and is now available for pre-order.
